What is MyWillTech?

MyWillTech is a platform specifically developed to share any kind of information (files, messages, emails) in the fastest way ever or at a fixed point in time.

Is MyWillTech free of charge?

Yes, absolutely. You can receive files (WILL) without limits from other users on your PUBLIC AREA. You have 500MB of available space for free in your WillBox. You can upload up to 20MB for every single file. The scheduling service is always available. You can send as many Messages & Emails as you want.

How many and which kind of file can I load in my WillBox?

You can upload any type of file (audio, video, image, text, etc.) by so much available space your WillBox has. Files up to 20MB can be uploaded for free. There are no size limits if you purchase the service.

What are the payment services?

To improve your experience with the platform there are some payment services that you can find in the Increase Space/Buy Services area:

  • You can increase the available space of your WillBox according to your needs. Once paid for, it is yours FOREVER.
  • You can remove the upload quota limit of 20MB for every single file and turn it unlimited.
  • You can add a LOG (a chronological log of your file activity)
  • You can buy the MyLastWill service that passes on files and folders to your heirs.

Can I change my email address after I have signed up?

No, for safety reasons it is not possible to change your email address.

Is it true that what I receive from other users does not take up any space on my WillBox or my computer?

It is true. You can view all the WILL you receive in your PUBLIC AREA. Only information put on your WillBox will take up space, but not on your devices.

Do my recipients need a MyWillTech account to receive my messages, my Will or my legacy?

Absolutely not.  If the recipients aren’t in your contact list, you just need to insert their email and they’ll receive a special link with which they’ll be able to access everything you have sent them, and also read your messages.

What guarantee do I have that MyWillTech will still be working on the dates that I have scheduled for sharing (e.g. in 50 years)?

MyWillTech was created to guarantee that your own cultural heritage would reach its destination. No technical or financial problems will impede its purpose.

How will I know that my Will was delivered on the date I have scheduled?

MyWillTech is a sophisticated system that follows specific instructions. No technical problems should prevent its functioning.

How can I be sure that nobody, except for my recipient, can read my Will?

Nobody can access your WillBox. Not even the technicians working for MyWillTech. One of the functions that can be used is to encrypt your WILL. Doing so, even leaving your place of work, your information is safe from prying eyes.

Why should I entrust my legacy to the service MyLastWill?

The service MyLastWill is important because it allows the desired destination of your legacy. Another important aspect is the conservation of your legacy in a safe place to avoid loss, or worse, theft or destruction of documents.

At the expiry of the days I have chosen to active the service MyLastWill, can I still access my WillBox?

Once MyLastWill is activated, your account will be deactivated. You must contact us and after checking your identity, your account can be reactivated.

After my account has been deactivated, is it possible to open a new account with the same email that has already been used?

No, because your account will not be eliminated. You can ask to reactivate your account or to open a new one with a different email address.

After the deactivation of my account, will I find all services previously bought?

You will find your WillBox with exactly the same services as before, except for MyLastWill.

How can I close my account?

For safety reasons your account cannot be eliminated. Only on special request, after checking your identity, your account can be cancelled by one of our administrators.

Why does MyWillTech not have its own APP?

Almost all of the APPs we use lack the appropriate measures to protect data and privacy. They are vulnerable to common attacks that can alter the functions of a smartphone. The mobile devices are utilized not only for private business but also to access reserved data and work documents and the problem of intrusions is very serious. For this reason we have decided to make MyWillTech fully accessible through the browser. This gives us some advantages:

  • It is accessible from any device, obviously with the systematic limitation.
  • It is accessible from any operating system, even the lesser known ones.
  • It is not necessary to download any application.
  • It does not take up space on the periphery, because everything is managed inside the MyWillTech server.

What happens if somebody tries to access to my WillBox?

MyWillTech is extremely safe. The algorithm that encrypts the password is a double-key encryption. Therefore it is mathematically impossible for somebody to enter without knowing the password. Furthermore, in order to face any type of attack, MyWillTech has a preventative defense system that evaluates any operation or call to its code. If MyWillTech finds that the operation does not meet its standards or does not follows its rules, the IP address of the caller is blocked. Which means that the code of the user is not reached in a straight way, providing a high standard of safety.
